"My Fair Lady”—Rex Harrison In

Bernard Shaw Musical

Few musical comedics in recent years have j created such a stir as "My Fair Lady” — the un- disputed champion of the 1955/56 Broadway sea- son. A musical adaptation of Bernard Shaw's 10.00

dedicated "Pygmalion”, it has delighted even Shavians with an extraordinary mixture of wit, movement and colour.

Already the first hour-long LP recording of the show has reached the Colony, and will be broadcast by Radio Hongkong in Wednesday Theatre this week, at 9 p.m.

The songs from the Shows are so closely inter- woven with the plot that listeners will be able to trace in them the story of Eliza Doolittle, the Cockney Rower girl who is taught to speak and act like a duchess by the self-centred Professor Higgins,
