Court Order Against Lawyer: Stay Of Execution Granted

An application for a further stay of execution of a Court order pending appeal was granted to John Leslie Lynn, a solicitor, by the Full Court, comprising the Chief Justice, Mr. Justice M. J. Hogan and the Puisne Judge, Mr Justice J. R. Gregg this morning,

The further stay was to enable Lynn to wind up his affairs and for the purpose of prosecuting his appeal.

On May 16 the Senior Puisne Judge, Mr Justice C. W. Reece in a judgment ordered that Lyhn's name be struck off the roll. The judgment was delivered following an application by the Incorporated Law Society of Hongkong to strike Lynn off the roll heard before Mr Justice Reece on May 1..
