Remarking that the accused was a menace to society, Mr Justice J. Reynolds sentenced Wong Pui, alias Yueng Chai, to ten years and ten strokes of the cane for robbery with aggravation at the Criminal Sessions this morning.

Wong was also sentenced to four years on a second count of possession of a revolver without a licence. The sentences are to run concurrently.
