BOXING KO'S BEN GREEN WITH EVERY REFEREE OVER SIXTY-FIVE
By HARRY CARPENTER,
Forty years of refereeing boxing ended on February 22 for likable little Ben Green, of Leeds. The end came in a drumatic and, for Green, humiliating fashion. Ilis beenee has been taken away. The familiar dumpy figure will not be seen in a ring again.
Green, the "A" Star referee qualified to handle any fight, all the way up to a World Championship, is the despondent central character in a boxing upheaval which Js shaken confidence throughout the world in British refereeing.

Dower Is Fast Becoming The Boxer No Flyweight Topliner Wants To Meet
Says ALAN HOBY
I am becoming extremely tired of World Cruiserweight Champlon Archie Moore and his double-talk ballyhoo over the Transatlantic telephone,
In any language, the ageing Moore has one simple obligation--to fulfil his contract and put up his title against Yolande Pompey at Harringay next month.
Moore said he would not fight Pompey on March 18 because he feels he would have trouble in getting down in the winter from his present weght of 13 st. 13 lb. to the Cruiserweight limit of 12 st. 7 lb..

Peshawar, Feb. 27.
The Pakistan Cricket Board is reportedly taking a serious view of an incident last night when some members of the MCC touring team were alleged to have assaulted Test Match umpire Idris Beg.
