Tokyo, Feb. 6, A spree of brisk trading in the shares of the famed Imperial Hotel to monopolise the curb market dominated the activities of the Tokyo Stock Exchange last week.
The hotel shares were beset with wild fluctua- tions hinged on rumours that said certain interests were cornering the stocks, that a dispute prevailed among the hotel management or that the present structure was soon to be torn down to be replaced by an ultra modern hostel under American management.
The fuctuation ranged at one Ume
