SUNDAY'S 52 MILE CYCLE RACE WAS A TEST OF ENDURANCE FOR ALL RIDERS

The 52 Mile Cycle Race for the Carlsberg Cup, on Sunday, was a test for all who participated, not because of the tough course that the riders had to cover, but because of the extreme cold and gale force wind they encountered during the event. Worst affected were the South China boys. Though well wrapped up within the first three mlies, two had to drop off because of the lee cold wind, leaving thres of their boys in the bunch.
