DEFENDS
PAPERS' RIGHTS
London, Dec. 29.
Britain's Press Council, an organisation which acts as a "watchdog" on the ethics and good taste of British newspapers, today defended their right
to print "the lustier and more violent aspects of
life."
In its second annual report the Council said the press was often "sharply and ignorantly as sailed" in speeches and radio or television features.
