China has placed orders in Britain during the past 10 days for nearly £1,000,000 worth of wool- tops, wool traders reported today.
They said the Chinese had placed the order with Bradford wooltop makers for about 2,500,000 pounds of medium crossbred wooltops. They said this was the largest transaction for a single quality which Bradford had handled for many years.
