Washington, Oct. 3.

Although the latest report on President Eisen- hower's condition indicated no complications, the alarm felt over the recent setback in his recovery from a heart attack has inevitably given further stimulus to speculation that he may resign from the Presidency before his term of office expires in January 1957.

Constitutionally it is extremely difficult for any President to delegate his power of executive decision and continue in office.

According to the point of view of some who know the President well, Eisenhower will not cling to office, to the like President Woodrow Wilson in 1919, if he feels cell in the that he cannot adequately perform its duties.
