To err is human-but some of the mistakes made by officials at Wimbledon have been downright inhuman in the opinion of many players.

Bad decisions featured in scores of matches, and unless umpires and linesmen can do better than this Wimbledon is going to lose its name for being the best-run tournament in world tennis.
