It's Time That The HKLBA Acquired

Its Own Greens

Says “TOUCHER"

Since the Colony Open Championships began a couple of weeks ago, I have heard one question raised every now and again, and that is "Why cannot the Hongkong Lawn Bowls Association have its own greens?"

It is a very pertinent query and merits due consideration by the Association. Hongkong has advanced far into the field of international competition in various forms of sports in the past few years; but only in lawn bowls and, to a certain extent, în table tennis has the Colony gained international houðurs.

The Colony came very near than soccer or tennis.
