LEAGUE BOWLS

Recreio "Blues" Signal Their Return To Form By Beating IRC 5-0

By "TOUCHER”

THE CHINA MAIL, MONDAY, JUNE 13, 1955.

TEXAN VICTOR

Champion Recreio "Blues" signalled their return to the front rank of the Colony's leading Lawn Bowls teams in Saturday's curtailed pro- gramme of League matches with a decisive 5-0 win over Indian Recrea- tion Club "Blues"-hitherto the only unbeaten team in the Senior Division. For the victors it was more than a triumph. The decisive margin of their win not only pushed them from fifth position in the League table to second place above the idle KBGC and CCC, but also blunted the strong challenge of their Indian rivals for the season's Championship honours,
