The 29th English 'Open' Table Tennis Championships are over. The lights of Wembley's Empire' Pool are dimmed. But not the memories.

Out of the triumphs and failures. the shocks and surprises, which made this one of the most talked about championships for years, one man stood supreme. His name? Zarko Dolinar of Yugoslavia, the new singles title holder.
