CROSS-EXAMINATION OF PSYCHIATRIST CONTINUES

Dr P. M. Yap, Government psychiatrist and medical officer-in- charge of the Mental Hospital, testified at the Supreme Court this morning that he had ruled out the possibility of jealousy on the part of Mrs Quie of her husband, Mr Joseph Lesile Quie.

Asked in cross-examination if there was any indication that Mrs Quie might not be telling the real truth about her husband, Dr Yap replied: "Taking everything into consideration, no.”

Witness said Mrs Quio had told him in reply to his questions that sho was not jealous of Mr Quio as a result of his "liaison" with others.
