In a statement issued by the White House, the President said it was natural for Americans to feel "dis appointment" over the lack of immediate success in talks between the United Nations Secretary-General, Mr Dag Hammarskjold, and the Communist Chinese Premier, Mr Chou En-Jai, in Peking.
