Second Best

By DAYTON MOORE

Washington, Dec. 22,

The US. Chamber of Commerce predicted today that business will be two per cent better next year than this but will not be quite as good as in 1953.

If the forecast pans out, 1955 will be another "second best" year from an economic standpoint., The nation enjoyed its greatest prosperity in 1958 when the major business indicators climbed to all-time peaks although an economic decline started late in the year.
