Withdraw Original Resolution

United Nations. Dec. 13.

Ten Asian-African nations withdrew their original re- solution on Morocco in the United Nations Main Political Committee tonight and presented instead a proposal to post- pone further consideration of the item "for the time being."

The proposal was submitted by Afghanistan, Burma, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, the Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Pakistan and the Yemen in what was called a "concilia- tory move" in view of the opinion expressed during debate that there would be direct Franco-Moroccan talks on the situation in the North African teritory.

NEW RESOLUTION

The new resoluilon would declare simply: "The Gen- cral

Ameribly, "having examined tho Moroccan question, noting that many delegationa declared

that negollations between France and Morveco will be initiat- od regarding this question decides to postpone for the time being further сол- alderation of the item."
