Egypt And The Lebanon Renew Pledge

United Nations, Nov. 3.
Egypt and the Lebanon today renewed the Arab pledge not to make war on Israel except in self-defence.
The pledges were made by Dr Mahmoud Azmi of Egypt shortly be- Core he collapsed and Dr Charles Mali' of the Lebanon before the 11-nation Scurity Council during its second hearing of Israel's complaint against Egypt in connection with the September 28 seizure of the Israeli merchant ship Bat Galim.
