Indo-China is now a problem of the first magnitude for President Eisenhower, just as it was for President Roosevelt before the attack on Pearl Harbour when he warned Japan in 1942 to go no further in its undeclared war conquest of Indo-China.

Indo-China is doubtless looked upon in the Kremlin and in Peking as the gate to crash for the taking of Southeast Asia.
