The
New York, Apr. 23.
United Nations Disarmament Sub- Committee met for four hours today in a new effort to agree on disarmament and decided to meet again in London “on or about May 13.” Russia is expected to attend this meeting.
Mr Andrei Vyshinsky, the Soviet delegate, was present. It had been feared that the Russians Would boycott the meeting after the rejection of their proposal for the inclusion of delegates from Communist China, India and Czechoslovakia.
Mr Vyshinsky protested again at the meeting that the Sub-Committee should not be confined to Britain, the United States, Franco, Russia and Canada - the powers named by the parent Disarmament Commission on Monday.
