Prosecution Counsel Ends Submissions
In King Case
The Hon. Leo d'Almada, QC, leading Counsel for the Prosecution, this morning concluded his arguments on law and asked the Court to hold that the defendant had a case to answer when hearing of the King case continued before Mr Poon Yan-hoi in the Supreme Court building.
Mr d'Almada sald'his submissions to the Court were merely an address in Peply to a submission that there was no prima facie case made out. "It is not an appeal to a Jury," he added, "and no Magistrate would expect from either of us a passionate peroration in the manner of Mr Mossadegh. I respectfully submit that there is a case for the defendant to answer.".
