Alleged Corruption: SI Ward's Counsel Addresses Court

The Prosecution in the case of alleged corruption before Judge J. Reynolds at the Victoria District Court was accused by Mr R. W. S. Winter, Defence-Counsel, this morning of “incredible acrimony" in presenting its case.

Naming certain procedures taken by the Prosecution in the conduct of the case, Mr Winter declared: "All these matters, in my respectful submission, are indicative of the incredible acrimony in which this case has been presented before the Court."
