BRAVES WIN RIP-ROARING CONTEST, BUT THE GOBS HAVE REASON TO PROTEST Says "SNOOPER"
Supporters of Ed Carvalho's champion Braves trooped happily home fron King's Park yesterday after their favourite team had snatched dramatic 3 to 2 nine-inning-game victory from Bill Williams' USS Orca in one of the most exciting softball clashes seen locally.
The many diamond enthusiasts who were privik-red to witness this rip- roaring contest would say that the Orca were robbed. The victory was the Braves' fourth in a row, but it was not in very entisfactory one and the game was played under protest.
