BIG step has just been taken towards the introduction of "hover-police.” In an exercise staged by the Police College, Coventry, and the Warwickshire and Northamp- tonshire forces, a hoverplane was used to track down a "stolen" car and to transmit radio messages to police cars hunting for the "bandits."
