Warder Faces 3 Serious Charges
A warder of Stanley Prison appeared before Judge W. A. Blair-Kerr at the Victoria District Court this morning accused of forcing a prisoner to write a note to a relative asking that money be given to him when he went to deliver the letter.
The warder, Cheng Siu-ki, pleaded not guilty to charges of criminal intimidation, corruption and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. is defended by Mr Alfred Y. Hon.
The Prosecution is conducted by Mr Simon Li, Crown Counsel.
The charges against Cheng | were (1) that he, on March 27, caused the complainant, Lo Kin- wrile certain letters chung, to which Lo
