Another knock-out blow is coming to Third Division footbail-If a prominent elub in the North-East has its way. The club will propose that League manage- ment shall be in the hands of First and Second Division clubs only.

This proposal, which aims at two-thirds First Division and one-third Second Division representation on the League Management Committee, is the most revolu tionary of its kind since Southern League clubs sold their birthright in exchange for League status.
