The suggestion has been made in a national newspaper that the Army FA should enter the FA Cup and FA Amateur Cup competitions. The writer says: "2 should be good for recruitment and that the amateur Army side could do for the Services what Pegasus F.C. did for the schools and universities football by winning the Amateur Cup; that the Army team could beat clubs of the standard of Walthamstowe Avenue”.

SERVANTS' PASSES

Servants' passes will be issued to private box holders only, who are requested to distribute them with discrimination and to endorse their names on the passes. Holders of such passes aro' not permitted in the Members Enclosure except for passing through on their duties and must remain, in their employers' slands.

Owing to the congeilion in the Members' Betting Hall and at Booths adjacent to Boxes In the Coffee Room, Box-holders and Members are requested to ensure that their servants make use only of the Publie Betting Hall. Military Pollee will be posted at various points in the enclosure to ensure that this regulation is adhered to
