An announcement is expected shortly concerning the establishment of the new Commonwealth Inance company which is being set up by important British financial and industrial organisations to provide capital for, and promote interest in, economic development in the Commonwealth. One half of the company's capital-which may be between $15 million and £25 million-will be subscribed by the Bank of England.
