By "RECORDER"

The Colony's Fastest Humans were re-established yesterday as Stephen Xavier and Rita Hall and the two set each a remarkable record. Stephen negotiated the 220 Yards around two turns in 22.9 seconds, crack- ing the record he set on the same Boundary Street track last year by four- fifths of a second and leaving Billy McCall, the Colony's No. 2 in the furlong sprint, four-fifths of a second behind.

The Xavier effort was worth 22.5 seconds on the Caroline Hill track on which two weeks ago Billy McCall set the season's best time of 22.7 seconds.
