The American golfers compeiing in the Ryder Cup match at Wentworth on October 3 and 4 are likely to be invited to play in the Dunlop Master Tournament at Sunningdale three days later.

Cup Tie football in England is again proving to be the biggest money spinner in sport. But not for the pro fessional soccer player, the worst paid big time athlete in the world at £14 a week.

During the current Football Association Cup tourna- ment attendances have increased despite raised admission charges, and the end of season pool to be shared by the 92 clubs which form the English Football League is likely to be much bigger than the £97,295 of 1961-52.
