The arrest of 25 Egyptian Army officers and discovery of a plot to overthrow the regime of General Naguib were announced here tonight.

The plot was disclosed by the Minister of National Guidance, Fuad Galal, who said in a radio broadcast that the plotters had planned to "hinder and spoll" the movement which brought General Naguib to power and ousted King Farouk last summer.
