Speculation Over Next Month's Assembly Session
New York, Jan. 15.
The Foreign Ministers of Britain, France and the other NATO countries are expected to attend the United Nations General Assembly when it re- sumes, its seventh session here on February 24.
Writers on United Nations topics agree that top-rank national leaders will lead most delega- tions, at any rate at the start, an unusual thing for the second half of an interrupted session.
Somo exports asserted that the British and French Foreign Ministers, Mr Anthony Eden and M. Georges Bidault would bring with them diplomats of Cabinet rank to assist them.
Two questions already on the Assembly's agenda åre of East- West significance.
These are;
1. What should the United Nations do if the Communicis do-not--agree-to-a-Korean ormistice, and
2. The relationship of the United Nations to the host country in regard to its inter- national personnel.
To these controversial issues may be added a third: A com- plaint by Israel against alleged and-Jewish measures in Eastern Europe.
While the exact scope of the Israeli complaint is not yet known, it was expected, in any case,
to focus attention-as in the other two issues on the attitude of the Asian-Arab bloc. The Arab group does not co- operate with Israel.
Criticism Of Indian
Policy
London, Jan. 15, The London Times today pointed to what it called " real weakness in Indian diplo- macy."
"The Government of India is rightly proud of its indepen dence. It will not brook ad- monition-let alone pressure from other countries on the management of its affairs," the paper sald
