Drawing Up Weaving For Mountbatten May Command

Economic Blueprint For The Coming Year

Paris, Dec. 12.

Foreign Ministers and Finance Ministers from 18 European coun- tries and American and Canadian representatives are meeting here today to put the finishing touches to the blueprints of the Western world's economic structure for 1953.

The two-day meeting of the OEEC (Organisation for European Economic Co- operation) Ministerial Council is expected to hear from its President, the British Foreign Secretary, Mr Anthony Eden, an outline of the decisions of the London Commonwealth Economic Conference, particularly the possbility of partial con- vertibility of Sterling..

The Conference is also expected to discuss the holding of a European, American and Commonwealth Economic Conference in the Spring when Ameri- can policy under the new Administration will have been clarified.
