· London, Nov. 30. The Commonwealth Economic Conference has got away to a busi- nesslike start after the delay caused by the late arrival of the Australian Prime Minister, Mr Menzies, and the Foreign Secretary, Mr Eden, who were held up by bad weather conditions over the Atlantic.
