Plans are being made for the immigration and settlement of 150,000 Japanese in the rich Brazilian State of Amazonas, according to an article published in the Brazilian Bulletin here.
The Bulletin, publ hed in New York by the Brazilian Government Trade Bureau, said the colonisation plan had been approved by the Federal Government in co-operation with the Amazonas State Government.
