Harry Ore is to give a piano recital over Radio 1.15 NEWS,

AND ANNOUNCEMENTS, Hongkong on Thursday evening at 8.10. He is playing Chopin's Polonaise in E. Flat Minor, Opus 26, No. 2, and five Preludes from Opus 28, Nos. 1, 9, 10, 14, and 22; as well as five Preludes from. Opus 11,--Nos. 1, 12, 13, 14, and 23-oxid “Satanic Poem" by Scriabin.

Charles Edward Stuart 'Bonnie Prince Charlie' is once again the central figure in a romantic story, this time "Over the Sea to Skye", a ballad opera by Alan Lomax. It was produced by the author in the Scottish studios of the BBC and can be heard as a recording over Radio Hong- kong on Thursday at 9.15 p.m.

The adventures of the Young_Pretender among the Scottish hills and islands after the Battle of Cullo den make one of the greatest escape stories of all time. Some years after the "Forty-Five" Rebellion a Jacobite historian, Bishop Forbes, interviewed every person who had seen the Prince during his wanderings and he in- cluded their narratives" in a bulky collection of memoire, which he called "The Lyon in Mourning," Lomax made hle opera from this material and a collec tion of Jacobite ballade gathered together by James Hogg, the shepherd poet of Ettrick.
