Britain will take “instant logal action” against any firm whatevor nationality, including American, If an attempt is made to buy Iranian oil.
This clear warning was stressed and re- affirmed by the British authorities in Washington
following reports from Teheran saying that Iran

firm, by which 3,000,000 tons of oil a year will be
