Girl In Car Chases Four Bandits
Landon, May. 13. - Four bandits snatched a bag
holding £600 from 30-year-old cashier Miss Elizabeth -Cum- mings. Then, at the wheel of har firm's car, she chased a stolen car with the bandits - elde.
Miss Cummings, of Wallend Dairies, Albert-road, Kilburn, and Miss Leone Corrigan, 24, of Waverley walk, Paddington, were taking the bag of cash and remo cheques to a "bonle in Kil- burn High-road.
They parked the car as usual in Brondesbury Villas. As they ware getting out one man pulled the bag from Miss Cumminga and ran 20 yards to the get- away car. Two men were inside, A fourth held the door open.
As the bandits moved off Miss Cummings ran back into her car and raced after them. Miss Cor rigan went to a telephone klokk and dialled 990. Miss ·Cum- · mings lost sight of the bandits' car in the chase.
