Club de Recreio and Kowloon Bowling Green Club provided the main highlight of the opening games of the Colony Lawn Bowls league last Saturday.
Conceded to be the two leading contenders for the First Division title this year, the two clubs lived up to their reputation when they battled to almost a dead heat finish, with Club de Recreio rather lucky to emerge the winners by a 4-1 mar- gin.
