ENGLAND'S BEST
THE CHASE IS ON FOR AN ENGLAND CRICKET CAPTAIN -COMPTON OR HUTTON?
By PETER DITTON
The chase is on. And I am not talking about horses either. This particular hunt is in search for an England cricket captain for the Test series against India this summer.
..F. R. Brown, the, burly, former Surrey amateur, now captain of Northamp tonshire and England's leader in the last 13 Teats-not counting the recent MCC visit to India-has sald he wishes to relinquish the captaincy at the cardlest possible moment.
He will not be available for the Test serles against Australia in 1953 and wants to make way in order that a younger man may be groomed for the job.

Treasure House Of Priceless Cricket Souvenirs
London, Apr. 20.
Every cricket enthusiast makes a point of at least one visit to Lords, home of the Marylebone Cricket Club since the latter part of the 18th Century and they are well aware of the great games which have taken place on the famous ground.
Comparatively few, however, are fortunate enough to enter the pavilion, arrayed with priceless souvenirs of cricket through the ages.
