MP EXPLAINS NEW HUMAN RIGHTS BILL

Mr Fenner Brockway, Labour MP for Eton and Slough, who is to introduce in the House of Commons a private member's bill aiming at the elimination of the colour bar in the Colonies, said at a Press conference tonight that he expects some opposition from Europeans in the Colonies,
The Bill, which will be introduced on April 25, seeks to establish a declaration of human rights similar to that of the United Nations — and will,
if passed, come into force without further legisla ture by Jan. 1 next year.
