Epic Cup Final Or Day Of

Beyond the boundaries of Blackburn and Chelsea the public has quite made up its mind that 1952 is to bring the most spectacular Cup Final since the war-New- castle United, holders, versus Arsenal, candidates for Cup and Leagne.

This is understandable. One of this afternoon's semi-finalists, Blackburn Rovers, have recovered from the worst start in their history, but are still only half- way up the Second Division table, whereas their opponents from Newcastle have a Cup record this season better than anything achieved in the competition in the last 10 or 20 years.
