Radio Hongkong To Broadcast Commentary
On Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race
Tonight at 11 o'clock Radio Hongkong is relaying the commentary from the BBC on the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race. John Snagge will be in the launch following the crews over the four-and-a-half mile stretch of the Thames from Putney to Mortlake. Since the first Inter-Varsity Boat Race in 1829, Cambridge have won 53 and Oxford 44, with a dead heat in 1887.
