The articles complained of were "Denouncing Mr So-and- So," "The advice to a notable of three Dynasties" and "Small Prize for Correct Guess" pub- lished in the Shanghal Herald on May 25 and 27 and June 18, 1051.
According to Mr Arculil the articles alleged that plaintiff was a person of immoral character and had leit relations with his friend's wife, that he was dis- honest and Inefficient in his work. Plaintiff was not mentioned by name in the articles, but people who knew him reading the articles would conclude referred to him.
