The score for the whole series, started in 1934, now stands at four victories for Hongkong, four for Macao, with four matches drawn. Hongkong leads on goal average by 18 goals to 16 and still holds the record for the biggest margin of victory, the 4-1 defeat of Macao in the Portuguese Colony last year. Three of Hong- kong's victories were achieved at Macao, and three of Macao's at Hongkong.
