Friends of the late Mr W, M (Tommy) Thomson have decided to raise a charity fund in memory

ever this happened, Alec would shout: "Here's the Japs" and Polly would either dive into her "underground" cage or in one of

guards who tied her wings and threw her into the fire. But when they had gone, Alec pulled her out and nurred her with oll stolen from lamps and wrapped her in scraps of cotton wODI obtained at the risk of Alec's life, Polly made a miraculous recovery to continue to enliven the days. of the prisoners until the hour of ilberation.
