It is well worth the see- ing for some excellent sequences where the Arling reaches higher level of artistry than Hollywood generally offers over

a score of its "vehicles".

This particular vehicle--and two story has been more aptly subtly titled than has "A Streetcar Named Desire"-races along on a loult that is not too much that of Vivien Leigh, the slac as Blanche Du Bois, as on the necessity of telling the story at the dialogue.
