SUCCESSFUL CHANGE OF OFFENSIVE TACTICS WINS 3-1 FOR HALSINGBORG
By "SPIV"
A successful change of offensive tactics and a solid defence earned the visiting Halsinborg Swedish Soccer X1 a 3-1 win over the Hongkong Combined Chinese yesterday, and with it an unbeaten record in their 1951 Hongkong visit. They defeated the All-Hongkong team by 5-1 and drew with the Hongkong Selection 1-1 in the other matches.

Yesterday's game, featured again by innumerable missed chances, watched by a capacity crowd, including His Excellency, the Governor. There was, however, a constant flow of thrills in the great number of goalmouth melees.
Held to a goalless draw in the first half, the Swedes exploited the blank space behind their opponents' left-back and left-half to the full in the second half. Two almost identical goals came within the short space of the opening ten minutes of the second half from this move, which was helped in no small measure by the Hongkong defenders' weakness with the left foot.
