The Royal Air Force took the lead in both Divisions of the Cricket League on Saturday and scored the most complete victory ever accom- plished against the Scorpions at Chater Road. They just missed a win by 10 wickets with a record first wicket stand of 156 runs by Ken Ball and "Tug" Wilson.

Ball retired short of his century a 97, second highest score of the season to "Tug" Wilson's 99 against the University. His innings included 15 fours and Wilson's 56 runs included eight fours.
