Syria Postpones Debate On

Defence Pact

Damascus, Oct. 29.

The Syrian Parliament's foreign affairs com- mittee today postponed for a week a debate on the Foreign Minister's recommendation that Syria should refuse to take part in the Middle East de- fence plan.
